Swimming is a very important part of Happy Valley School's Health and Physical Education programme.

During Term 1, Children are involved in swimming activities at every year level throughout the school.

As the children pass through each year level, they are exposed to a wide variety of swimming activities. The following venues have been used in the past.

The emphasis at each venue varies according to the age of the children. The overall aim of the programme is to develop strong, confident swimmers who are able to safely enjoy the fun and recreational water activities that are possible in our unique Australian climate.

When the children reach Year 6 and 7, they are exposed to some fantastic recreational activities at The Port Noarlunga Aquatics Centre. The photographs below depict some of these activities.
