Some of the younger childen still had enough energy to play on the equipment after they reached the Park

Once the children reached their destinations, there was plenty of time for a play on the equipment. Many classes enjoyed a picnic or B.B.Q. lunch before heading back to school.

Congratulations to the Dunning family who won the special sponsor's prize, and to Samantha Adams for raising the second highest amount of money.

Congratulations also to Josie Dimond and family who managed to get 54 sponsors and won the prize for the most money raised.

Time for one last climb on the equipment before walking back to school.

On Friday June 11th, the school held a very successful Walkathon to raise money for school programmes and resources. The walk was organized by The Fundraising Committee and raised almost $4000.

The Junior Primary children (shown above) walked to a park east of the school and the Primary students walked a little further to Thalassa Park.

Both groups of children were accompanied by their teachers and a large number of parents who assisted with supervision.

The weather was ideal for the walk.

Mrs. Miller's class were very keen to lead the walk back to school
