The Annual General Meeting of the Happy Valley School was held in the School Hall on Monday November 26th 2001. This was the final A.G.M. held in November, because the school financial year will, in future, align itself with the calendar year. The next A.G.M. will be held in February 2003.

The Annual General Meeting was not only an opportunity for the customary annual reports to be presented and new councillors to be elected to the school's Governing Council, but it was also a time for the school to celebrate its success.

Over eighty parents, staff and students attended the evening. It was a very enjoyable programme, where the school acknowledged the excellent efforts by staff, parents and students to create such a success oriented, happy learning environment.

The major part of the evening was given to the students to demonstrate some elements of the school's  learning programme. The evening also highlighted the school's progress towards meeting the objectives of the Partnerships Plan. The school also reported on the extremely high level of achievement that, once again, has been maintained over a wide range of curriculum areas and school activities. In addition, results from the school's annual Parent Opinion survey were also presented at the meeting.
