Once again, the evening finished with a spectacular display of fireworks sponsored by our student body, The Kookaburra Council.  Everyone present would like to thank Kookaburra Council for once again supporting this very popular and exciting finale to our Family Christmas Evening.

This year's Christmas Family Evening was held on Monday 10th December on the School Oval.  Although the skies threatened throughout the day, a very large crowd attended to celebrate the end of another school year.

The evening commenced with a barbeque conducted by the Pedal Prix group. Throughout the evening, tea and coffee was provided by the Canteen Committee.

As twilight approached, hundreds of students, teachers, parents, ex-students and family members gathered on the oval for a night of fun and entertainment.

Above: Early entertainment was provided by bands, Dave's Kitchen (left) and Naked Frog (right).   Both bands featured parents from our school including, Greg Andrews, Mick Ridge and John Boath.

One of the highlights of our school's Christmas Night is the performance of the Junior Primary Choir (shown at right).

Each year, they delight the crowd with a selection of Christmas carols and other songs.

The Senior Choir performed to a very appreciative audience. The Christmas Night is a final opportunity for many choir members to perform and display their exceptional skills. The choir has had a particularly successful year, culminating in their performance in the Festival of Music earlier in the year.

Other highlights of the night consisted of a variety of skits, items and music performed by an ever eager group of parents and staff members. This always provides a lot of fun (and embarrassment!) for everyone involved. The photographs below show a sample of some of the antics on display this year.

More fun and music from our parent groups.

Christmas Family Night is a fantastic way to finish our school year !
