


During August, Mrs Higgins' Reception/Yr 1 class held an
Impressionist Art Exhibition. The purpose of the exhibition was to
provide an opportunity for the children to share their learning with
family and friends.
The class had been learning about the life and art of Claude
Monet. They had each produced their own paintings which had been
inspired by Monet's unique impressionist style.
The children organised the programme of events including a Grand
Opening by Mr MacLean, light refreshments and sharing information about
Claude Monet, the students' favourite impressionist artist.
