On Wednesday 26th March, thirty three students represented our school at the annual District Athletics Day held this year at Reynella East Schools. All fourteen schools in the Southern Valley SAPSASA District competed on the Day. Our group was led by staff member, Scott Francis who was well supported by a keen group of parents and grandparents.

All of our athletes performed exceptionally well, with many achieving personal bests in their events. The following students achieved ribbons for placing in their respective events.

At the end of the day, Happy Valley finished a creditable seventh in the points score. Congratulations to all of our students for their performances and exceptional behaviour during the day. Special thanks to teacher, Scott Francis and the many parents and grandparents who supported the team and assisted with transport.
